By accessing or using the Platform you agree to these Terms, our [Privacy Policy](/privacy-policy.md) and [Cookie Policy](/cookie-policy.md). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. ### 1. Overview of the service The Platform lets you register for an account; earn, purchase and use **coins** to mint **referral tokens** associated with .ART domains; and receive **rewards** when a domain associated with your referral token is registered. These Terms apply to all of these activities. ### 2. Eligibility You must be at least **18 years old** (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater) to use the Platform or create an account, and you must provide truthful registration details. You represent that you are not located in, or a national of, a country subject to comprehensive trade sanctions, and that you are not on any restricted-party or sanctions list. ### 3. Accounts & security To use certain features you create an account (email, username, optional profile details). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. ### 4. Coins & referral tokens * **Coins** are digital credits used within the Platform. They are **not** fiat currency, legal tender, cryptocurrency or securities. * **Referral tokens** represent unregistered .ART domains and are minted using coins. * Coins and tokens have **no cash value outside the Platform** and cannot be transferred, resold or exchanged except as expressly permitted by us. * We may change, limit, expire or discontinue coins, tokens or their mechanics at any time; where this materially affects you we will give reasonable notice. ### 5. Rewards * When a domain associated with your referral token is registered, you become eligible for a **reward equal to 10% of the tier price of that domain**. * Rewards are automatically calculated and distributed. **They are via PayPal, upon withdrawal request, once your total reward balance reaches at least US$10**. * You are responsible for providing a valid PayPal address and for any taxes due on rewards you receive. Rewards may be withheld or reversed where they arise from error, fraud or breach of these Terms. ### 6. Your rights, duties & prohibited activities You may use .ART webpages and materials made available for promotion, **with attribution**, solely to promote the Platform. You agree that you will: * not claim to be employed by, or otherwise misrepresent your association with, .ART or us; * return all .ART-created and .ART-owned materials to us on termination of your association; * not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; impersonate others; upload malware; attempt unauthorised access; exploit system vulnerabilities; scrape, overload or disrupt the Platform; or engage in fraudulent activity. ### 7. Your content You retain ownership of the content you submit (profile details, names/identities, materials). You confirm you own it or have the rights to it, and that it does not infringe third-party rights or any law. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and reproduce your content as necessary to operate and provide the Platform. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law. ### 8. Intellectual property The Platform, its software, content and design (excluding your content) are owned by **UKCI Holdings Limited** or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. "name.art", ".ART" and related marks are trademarks of their respective owners. Nothing here grants you rights to our intellectual property except as expressly stated. ### 9. Third-party services & links The Platform integrates third-party services (e.g. Google, X) and may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content or practices; their terms and privacy policies apply. ### 10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranty as to accuracy or continuous, error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of assets, data or profits arising from use of the Platform or any transaction. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you will not exceed the value of the rewards due to you. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including your mandatory consumer-protection rights. ### 11. Termination We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms or applicable law. On termination, unused coins or tokens, and any pending rewards obtained in breach of these Terms, may be forfeited. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law) survive termination. ### 12.
